School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.
Our school events may include:

Athletics Carnival Years K-2
Date: Wednesday 10 June
Time: to be advised
Venue: Lake Cathie Public School
Parents/carers are invited to attend the K-2 Athletics carnival being held at the school.
Formal Assembly K-2
Date: Monday 15 June
Time: 1.45pm
Venue: School hall
Parents/carers are invited to attend the assembly.
Athletics Carnival Years 3-6
Date: Monday 22 June
Time: 9.30am - 1.45pm
Venue: Laurieton Oval
Parents/carers are invited to attend the 3-6 Athletics carnival being held at Laurieton oval.
Life Education visit
Date: 23 June - 1 July
Students with permission will attend sessions with Healthy Harold in the Life Education van.
Book Week Parade & Book Fair
Date: Wednesday 5 August
Venue: School hall and library
Come dressed as your favourite book character for the parade. Purchase a book or two at the book fair.
LCPS Trivia Night Fundraiser
Date: Saturday 15 August
Tickets: $20.00 each and can be purchased using the QR code or at the school office
