Unfortunately, due to the restrictions that the current lockdown has imposed, we will not be able to have our Kindergarten Orientation for our 2022 Kindergarten children on Friday 27 August at school as planned.
To make the transition to school as smooth and as successful as we can, we have organised some alternate arrangements.
This Friday (27 August) if you have already enrolled your child you will receive a package from the school that will be carefully delivered to your home. We will leave this at your front door to minimise any contact during this time.
In this package you will find the following:
· A welcome letter from the Principal including your interview date and time
· An A3 placemat for your child to enjoy
· An A4 laminated page to work on letter formation when your child is writing their name
· A USB with a copy of our orientation power point and slideshow of Kindergarten learning
· Our LCPS Five Fair Rules and Mindsets for Learning
· Paper copy of the power point for you to note any questions regarding starting school.
· PAIR reading book to read and enjoy with your child. (Please return this book and blue bag when you come for your interview with Mr Garven and we will swap it for another in the series).
If you have not yet enrolled your child please phone the school on 65848060 so we can organise a pack for you and your child.
We are anticipating that the drop-in visits planned for later in the year will proceed, however, please continue to check your emails as information regarding these visits will be communicated here.
If we do have to cancel all of the drop-in visits due to further restrictions, we will run a zoom session where we can answer any of your questions prior to school starting. Information regarding this will be emailed out to you as soon as possible.
